Serving Student-Athletes Across College Sports

SPinance works with college student-athletes across sports, divisions, and stages of development, recognizing that while every athlete’s journey is unique, the decisions they face off the field share common stakes.

We support men’s and women’s student-athletes competing in team and individual sports, including—but not limited to—football, basketball, track and field, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, and Olympic sports. Our work spans NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as student-athletes navigating NIL opportunities at different points in their collegiate careers.

Athletes we work with include:

  • First-year student-athletes adjusting to college expectations

  • Upperclassmen managing NIL income, leadership roles, and increasing visibility

  • Team leaders balancing performance, academics, and external pressures

  • Athletes preparing for life after college athletics, whether in professional sport or other career paths

SPinance is designed for athletes who are making real decisions in real time—about money, identity, leadership, and the future—and want a structured, educational space to think clearly and act intentionally.

Our approach is sport-agnostic but athlete-specific. We tailor coaching and education based on sport, competitive environment, seasonality, and institutional context, while maintaining consistent standards around professionalism, accountability, and long-term readiness.

Whether an athlete competes in a high-profile revenue sport or an Olympic discipline, SPinance exists to help translate the discipline, preparation, resilience, and will to win developed through sport into skills that support sound decision-making, financial confidence, and sustainable success beyond the game.

International Student-Athletes

SPinance works with international student-athletes navigating the academic, athletic, and financial complexities of competing in the U.S. collegiate system while maintaining global ties.

International athletes often face added considerations such as visa status, cross-border tax exposure, NIL eligibility questions, currency management, and long-term planning across jurisdictions—alongside the same performance and academic demands as domestic athletes.

SPinance provides educational coaching to help international student-athletes build clarity and confidence in cross-border decision-making. Our work focuses on understanding risks, asking informed questions, and planning responsibly, while maintaining clear boundaries around legal, tax, and immigration advice.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Financial awareness across currencies

  • High-level tax and reporting awareness (non-advisory)

  • NIL education in an international context

  • Decision-making under regulatory uncertainty

  • Career and transition planning with global pathways

All services are delivered in alignment with institutional policies and NCAA guidance. Athletes remain responsible for their own compliance obligations.
